11th June 2018

Antler Homes is pleased to announce its sale to a group led by Literacy Capital plc, Andrew Rinaldi and Dane Houlahan.
Paul Pinder, Chairman of Literacy Capital plc said, “We are very pleased to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Antler Homes.  Antler Homes represents an exceptional brand name, built on a forty-year heritage of providing high quality, design-led, family homes.  We are very excited about the prospects for the business and would like to thank the previous owners, Rockmount Capital and their team for all that they have done in building this business.  We look forward to investing further in the business to build on this excellent platform for growth. We see further developing the SME housebuilding sector as having a key role to play in unlocking the housing crisis and we look forward to leveraging this opportunity to expand our business in the Southern Home Counties.”
Philip Gower, OBE, Chairman of Rockmount Capital commented, “forty years have passed very quickly, building homes that we remain very proud of.  I have every confidence the new owners will continue the traditions that have evolved during the lifetime of Antler Homes and l wish them an extremely successful future.”
The new business will be led by Andrew Rinaldi as Managing Director, with Dane Houlahan taking on a non-executive director role focused on growth and strategy.    The business will continue to operate out of its Bagshot headquarters and will retain its focus on delivering high-quality family homes on new developments in areas in and around Berkshire, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  Significant new investment and growth is planned targeting strong commuter-belt locations within one hour of central London and with excellent demographics and growth prospects.
