Easter treats for the family! A fail-safe guide to the Easter holidays in Surrey.
4th April 2017
Spring has officially sprung. Daffodils are blooming, lambing season has begun and the kids are off school. With so many options available in the beautiful home county of Surrey, it’s hard to know how to treat your loved ones (and yourself!) this Easter period.
Luckily for you, we've put together a comprehensive guide to help plan the perfect break, whether an afternoon tea takes your fancy or Sunday lunch at one of Surrey’s best restaurants, a saunter around at a sumptuous spa or a stroll in the rolling Surrey countryside, it's all here. So here’s how to make the most of Surrey over the Easter break.
Surrey has a multitude of restaurants perfect to treat your family to a delicious Easter Sunday lunch. For the foodie family why not try The Latymer, the Michelin starred restaurant at Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa which offers delicious dishes from an elegant six-course tasting menu. Or if hearty, rustic Italian food in a relaxed setting is more your thing, why not book a table at Valentina’s in Weybridge. Alternatively, escape the kids and head to Denbies Wine Estate. The estate offers a variety of activities from traditional tours to cheese & wine making experiences.
You could pay a visit to Brooklands Museum for an action packed day out for the whole family with dedicated Easter activities running all through April. And for any petrol heads, make sure you head down the road to check out Mercedes-Benz World offering a range of fun for motor sports enthusiasts including under-17 driving experiences.
For a really relaxing break you could indulge in one of Surrey’s spas for a day of pure luxury and pampering at The Runnymede on Thames. This spa hotel offers a range of treatments from luxury brands Guinot, ESPA and Jessics, not forgetting indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whirlpool bath, saunas and eucalyptus steam room.
If you are looking to enjoy spring in all its glory, why not take the kids to Hatchlands Park to enjoy the sweeping parkland and explore the country house or take them for a wander round the gardens of Painshill. Both offer some of the best views and walks in Surrey and are perfect for children of all ages.
It's also a perfect time to think about moving house, so why not visit one of our show homes whilst you are in the area?
However you choose to treat your family this Easter break, we hope you make the most of what Surrey has to offer. Wishing you a happy Easter from all of us here at Antler Homes!
