Role Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our developments and show homes are always presented to the highest standard. You will also assist the Customer Care team by carrying out a variety of maintenance and finishing tasks in customers’ homes after occupation. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can manage their own schedule and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a range of maintenance, repair and finishing works across live developments, show homes and occupied properties.
- Support the Sales Team by ensuring show homes, marketing suites and communal areas are maintained to an impeccable standard.
- Attend homeowners homes to resolve minor defects and carry out agreed remedial works to a high standard.
- Liaise with the Customer Care team to coordinate and report on all works undertaken.
- Represent Antler Homes professionally at all times, providing a courteous and efficient service to our homeowners.
- Undertake general site maintenance including painting, decorating, basic carpentry, tiling, plumbing, and snagging.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed on site.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance, handyman or multi-trade role (preferably within residential housebuilding).
- Skilled in a variety of trades such as carpentry, decorating, tiling, plumbing and general maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must have own van and tools.
- Must be self-employed and able to provide appropriate insurance and references.
- Flexibility to travel between Antler Homes developments as required.
